We decided to try the smores shake also on promo menu. The waitress then informed us they were out of the shake.uh ok.disappointing.bummed, but oh well again. When waitress returned she asked if we were ready to order.we ordered the new hazelnut shake (which I might say is the best milkshake I've ever had!! It's on like the promo menu right now.), I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich (no pickle, no onion)with fries and tartar sauce, husband ordered blta croissant and cup of chicken tortilla soup. Shortly someone else arrived with two ice waters with lemon, I don't care for lemon in my water, wasn't asked. We told her we would like two waters, but would be sharing a shake and ordering food. When she came over with menus, no silverware, she asked for drink order. Our waitress never introduced herself, said she'd be with us in a minute, we said no problem. I believe two people were working in the section. It was not busy, maybe 6 tables with a couple at each, some already had their orders, 1 person at bar already eating, I think another couple came in after us. Generally our experience is satisfactory to above average! Not this time!! We seated ourselves in the bar as. For a great burger I prefer Five Guys, but Red Robin makes a wonderful crispy chicken ually. Red Robin has always been a favorite of my husband's. We will not return to this location of the Red Robin. The server was in lala land or out of sight most of the time. Later I was told by another server that you could not get my Teriyaki burger in the smaller size. I agreed but when it arrived it was a large size burger. I was told by the server that their regular size chicken burger could be reduced to a smaller size. My fingers went through the bun and held on to the chicken breast. 2# Chicken Teriyaki Burger served: The bottom bun was over sauced and so soggy from sitting that is was almost nonexistent. 1# Cheese Burger served: Very dry and the meat was overdone not the way it was ordered. Finally our two hamburgers where served with cold French fries (which they did replace with some, not so fresh ones from the warmer). It took three requests before we were brought our water. When we asked our server Andrew about the fish and chips on the menu he said "I do not like fish so I do not know about the fish or the batter". We started with an unknowledgeable server that reeked of perfume. If I could rate a restaurant at a -10 I would. We had one of our worst dining experiences in a long time. Normally we really enjoy eating at "Red Robin Restaurants" until this week. If you haven't been lately, give it a try. Our friends enjoyed their similar burger/salad items as well. My wife really enjoyed her salad, plenty of fresh greens and excellent dressings and toppings. My burger was very good (almost on par with the Court d'Alene resort and Capone's in Post Falls).price was about the same as those two venues. The food itself has gone up a notch or two. The wait staff were excellent, the food arrived promptly and they often checked back for drink and dry refills. The interior decor is a lot less stuffed with posters and "stuff" than before, so it looks a bit fresher, less crowded. It's been remodeled inside and a fresh coat of paint outside. in the holidays), we thought it would be fun.įirst off, even in the b d afternoon it was packed, so plan accort. We hadn't been to Red Robin for a year or two, but when friends suggested we meet there for a post-holiday late lunch (they were looking for a good excuse to spend some time away from their children.they're great but every adult needs a break.
